Delivered new to Portugal as one of 10 models provided there from Mazda, this early model S1 Mazda RX2 has been subjected to a full nut and bolt restoration from its previous keeper and has also been treated to a full engine rebuild. The factory 12a “twin dizzy” engine has only completed circa 1000km since the rebuild.

The previous owner in Portugal has been employed by Mazda for many years and was able to source as many NOS parts for the car to ensure that as much as possible, originality was kept on how it left the factory when new. The odometer reads 28,800 km’s and we area advised that the car was off the road after a breakdown until being recommissioned five years ago. 

Now very difficult to find these iconic cars in stunning, standard condition and is a true pleasure to drive.
